Thermography & Testing
Find the problem before it becomes the outage.
Electrical failures rarely start loud. They start small — heat, imbalance, resistance — the signs are there if you know how to look. Garba Industrial provides infrared thermography and electrical testing services that identify issues early, reduce downtime, and keep systems operating safely. From vessel switchgear to industrial distribution, we test under real load conditions to see what’s actually happening — not just what the prints say.

What We Do
We scan switchgear, MCCs, panels, terminations, bus ducts, and cable runs to identify hotspots, loose connections, phase imbalance, and overloaded components. Problems show up in heat long before they show up as failures — thermography gives you time to act.
We perform insulation resistance testing, continuity checks, torque verification, and visual inspection to confirm that systems are safe and compliant. Testing is performed by experienced technicians familiar with marine environments and code requirements.
Unstable power shortens the life of equipment. We analyze load balance, harmonics, and voltage drop to diagnose performance issues and recommend corrective action before equipment is damaged.

Our Approach

Real Conditions. Real Testing.
We test systems under actual operating loads whenever possible. Paperwork may say one thing — heat signatures and meters tell the truth.

Safety-First Field Practice
Testing is performed by trained technicians who understand arc-flash, marine safety procedures, and lockout/tagout protocols. Safety is built into every step.

Maintenance as Prevention
Thermography and testing aren’t “extras.” They’re how catastrophic failures get avoided — by catching issues before they turn into outages.
Key Capabilities
Infrared thermography under load
Switchgear & MCC thermal scanning
Panelboard & termination inspections
Insulation resistance & continuity testing
Torque verification of connections
Load monitoring & power quality analysis
Detailed reporting & corrective recommendations

Markets & Applications
Port operations & terminals
Offshore platforms
Marine vessels & fleets
Shipyards & repair facilities
Industrial facilities & plants
Because electrical problems announce themselves — if you know how to listen.
Because downtime is expensive, and surprises are avoidable.
Because finding the issue early costs less than fixing the failure later.

FAQs
Thermography uses infrared imaging to detect abnormal heat in electrical components. Excess heat often indicates loose connections, overload, imbalance, or failing equipment long before visible damage or outages occur.
Frequency depends on system criticality, load, and operating conditions. Many clients schedule annual or semi-annual scans for key equipment, with additional inspections after major changes or issues.
No. Thermography is most effective when systems are under normal operating load. Scans are typically performed while equipment is energized and in service.
Common equipment includes switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, bus ducts, terminations, cable connections, generators, and control systems across vessels and facilities.
Clients receive a detailed report that includes infrared images, temperature readings, identified risks, and practical recommendations for corrective action.
Yes. Identifying developing issues early allows repairs to be scheduled before failures occur, reducing the likelihood of unexpected downtime and secondary equipment damage.
